Housing affects everyone. The City of Eureka is updating its Housing Element, the State-required plan that will guide housing policies and priorities in Eureka through 2035.

The Housing Element addresses a wide range of housing issues, from preserving existing homes and preventing displacement to planning for new housing opportunities. It also identifies where Eureka can accommodate 1,740 new homes by 2035 to meet regional housing needs.

We are at the beginning of the process, before any decisions have been made. Your input will help shape the housing policies, programs, and City actions that will influence Eureka's neighborhoods over the next eight years.

Complete the activities below to continue sharing your ideas and help shape Eureka's housing future.
