Our digital input map is live and available at this link (https://talk.eurekaca.gov/embeds/projects/22123/places/4731), or by clicking the places tab below. This map provides a convenient way to highlight concerns and suggest improvements related to biking, walking, and transit amenities near the future Sunset Heights Development. The map will be open until April 15, ensuring we have ample time to incorporate community feedback into the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities grant application.

Overall Project Description: Affordable Housing on City-Owned Properties

To meet the City’s Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA; see “What is RHNA?”) and help alleviate our local housing crisis, the City has adopted a program to sell or lease City-owned parcels to affordable housing developers, with a goal of contractually requiring developers to construct at least 332 deed-restricted affordable housing units on City-owned parcels by 2028.
